What to expect in your online Private Session:
Private classes are a great way to get started with Pilates. Especially if you have not had a regular exercise routine in a while. A private class is also the best way to work on your own strength and agility when recovering from an injury. If you are dealing with a special condition, like pregnancy, osteoporosis, hyper tension and arthritis, a Private class is a wonderful way to improve your wellness journey. During Covid many of our regular classes moved to online and we got to appreciate the comfort and versatility of online training. Many of my clients are still doing classes online and you are welcome to join online too. To connect is quick and easy and I offer a pre-class set up opportunity to new clients. If you are considering online classes, keep the following in mind:
1. Do you have enough space to put down a yoga mat? There needs to be at least half a meter open either side of your mat to accommodate your extremities moving around.
2. Do you have a reliable internet connection that can support a video call for 60minutes?
3. Do you have a suitable device? Like a phone, table or laptop? It is most important that I can see you well and that you can hear me well. Private sessions are not follow along sessions, so you don't have to see me on a big screen. I teach you step by step and demonstrate as needed. It is great if you can see me, but not that essential.
See the image below for an idea of a good view for your screen. I need to be able to see the length of your body with a side view. We can always adjust the camera during the session if necessary.
It is a great help if the equipment you have available is in my screen, so that I can see what we have available to use.
I always suggest clients keep a 30cm towel, a small pillow and some water close by.
