Online Private Session
During Covid many of our regular classes moved to online and we got to appreciate the comfort and versatility of online training. Many of my clients are still doing classes online and you are welcome to join online too. To connect is quick and easy and I offer a pre-class set up opportunity to new clients. If you are considering online classes, keep the following in mind:
1. Do you have enough space to put down a yoga mat? There needs to be at least half a meter open either side of your mat to accommodate your extremities moving around.
2. Do you have a reliable internet connection that can support a video call for 60minutes?
3. Do you have a suitable device? Like a phone, table or laptop? It is most important that I can see you well and that you can hear me well. Private sessions are not follow along sessions, so you don't have to see me on a big screen. I teach you step for step and demonstrate only if necessary.

Barre Group Classes
Barre is a combination of ballet, body conditioning, Pilates and stretching. It is very popular in gyms and fitness centers around the world. Barre is known to sculpt, tone and strengthen the body. Sulene teaches Barre classes in the area at some local facilities. Look out for her Barre & Reformer workshops that pop up at Core Connexion every month or ask for group times and locations through the contact box below.

Pre- and Post-Natal Pilates classes
In Pilates we consider pregnancy and the 1 year after pregnancy as a very special time! This is when we use Pre- and Post-Natal Pilates which is much different than your regular Pilates classes. We have special considerations for the trimester you are in and for the postural needs of your changing body. During Post-Natal Pilates we have a whole tool set of exercises that uniquely adapts to your needs. It is a special time and a privilege for me to guide your body through these changes and the recovery there after. Currently available as Private sessions. Contact Sulene to set up a time that works for you. Group classes available upon request for 3 or more members.

Group Pilates Class
Group Mat class includes small equipment like weights, soft balls, bands, the Pilates ring and fascia or massage ball. Sulene's group classes are focused on fascial movement and rehabilitative in nature. If you are new to Pilates or working with a specific injury or condition, it might be a good idea to start with a few private sessions before joining the group. Currently she teachers a group class at 10am on a Thursday morning at
Zeers Therapy in Winnersh. This class only takes 6 people per class. Bookings are available from the website, keep scrolling.

Reformer Group or Private Sessions
Reformer classes are the new craze, but Sulene has been working with the Reformer for 26 years. It has been a part of the Pilates repertoire for many years and is a very valuable tool. The reformer is a great way to strengthen and balance your body.
In a private reformer class the program and exercises will be selected according to your postural needs. When joining a group class, the program is more general, but you will still be provided with options when exercises are layered to make sure there is something for everyone's benefit in each class.

In-Studio Private Pilates Session

Private classes are a great way to get started with Pilates. Especially if you have not had a regular exercise routine in a while. A private class is also the best way to work on your own strength and agility when recovering from an injury. If you are dealing with a special condition, like pregnancy, osteoporosis, hyper tension and arthritis, a Private class is a wonderful way to improve your wellness journey.
