Studio Classes

Although Sulene teaches mostly online, she also helps out at a few studios in her immediate area.  Her online clients are welcome to also join these classes as per the memberships of each of the facilities.  Here are some types of classes on her schedule:

Pre- and Post-Natal Pilates

In Pilates we consider pregnancy and the 1 year after pregnancy as a very special time!  This is when we use Pre- and Post-Natal Pilates which is much different than your regular Pilates classes.  We have special considerations for the trimester you are in and for the postural needs of your changing body.  During Post-Natal Pilates we have a whole tool set of exercises that uniquely adapts to your needs.  It is a special time and a privilege for me to guide your body through these changes and the recovery there after. Currently available as Private online sessions.  Contact Sulene to set up a time that works for you.  Group classes available upon request for 3 or more members. 

Reformer Group or Private Sessions

Reformer classes are the new craze, but Sulene has been working with the Reformer for 23 years. It has been a part of the Pilates repertoire for many years and is a very valuable tool.  The reformer is a great way to strengthen and balance your body.   

In a private reformer class the program and exercises will be selected according to your postural needs.  When joining a group class, the program is more general, but you will still be provided with options when exercises are layered to make sure there is something for everyone's benefit  in each class.

Pilates Class

Mat Group Classes

Group Mat class includes small equipment like weights, soft balls, bands, the Pilates ring and fascia or massage balls.  Mat Pilates is a very versatile practice and can be used in many different ways. You can focus on specific results, like stretching or stress release. The more athletic workouts are great for endurance and stamina training.  Sulene can also provide clinical Pilates classes that works well for any special conditions, like arthritis, recovering from an injury or back pain. 

 

Sulene teaches regular Mat group classes in the area.  You can join her at Wellington's College Gym or David Lloyds The Royal Berkshire. 

Sulene also offers events where she teaches MAT Pilates classes. Like corporate Pilates, wellness days and pop-up classes. 

Barre Group Classes

Barre is a combination of ballet, body conditioning, Pilates and stretching.  It is very popular in gyms and fitness centers around the world.  Barre is known to sculpt, tone and strengthen the body. Sulene teaches Barre classes in the area at some local facilities from time to time.  Look out for her Barre & Reformer client workshops that pop up at Core Connexion every month.

Sulene also give a Barre Teacher Training Course to instructors wanting to teach this method.
